Dr. Alexander H.E. Morawa Alexander Morawa of Kingsfield Law Office and Jay Fidell, President and CEO of ThinkTech Hawaii, discussed “International Law Claims Against Putin and Russia.” They discussed the International Criminal Court Prosecutor’s investigation, several sets of provisional measures issued by the European Court of Human Rights, Russia being suspended, then intending to leave, and eventually being expelled from the Council of Europe, and the suspension from sports now before the International Court of Arbitration for Sports in Lausanne. Dr. Morawa and Mr. Fidell also discussed the definitions of “war crime,” “crime against humanity,” and “crime of aggression” under international law.
